Krystal is a dual-qualified lawyer in England and Wales and the People’s Republic of China, with litigation experience in both jurisdictions. She has acted on a broad range of complex matters, including commercial disputes, cross-border issues, financial crime investigations and criminal defence.

Krystal regularly advises corporate and individual clients on High Court litigation, regulatory matters and multi-jurisdictional disputes. She has particular experience assisting international clients and businesses operating between the UK and Asia.

Her experience includes acting in group litigation representing over 60 companies in a significant High Court dispute, advising on international sale of goods and delivery disputes, and working on asset recovery matters, including the recovery of £2 million in a cross-border money laundering case under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA).

Krystal also has experience in property disputes, including successfully defending a tenant against an ex parte injunction and subsequently securing possession on behalf of the landlord. In employment matters, she has acted for a Japanese corporation and successfully defended an Employment Tribunal claim.

Her criminal practice includes defending clients in serious cases involving allegations of fraud and sexual offences. She has successfully represented a client facing serious allegations, including attempted rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and intentional suffocation, in the Crown Court.
