Lin Hou

Lin has a strong focus on dispute resolution, developed through his legal training at a boutique London law firm. During this time, he gained experience across a wide range of areas, including civil dispute resolution, mediation, corporate and commercial matters, personal injury, residential and commercial conveyancing, immigration and criminal law.

Upon qualifying as a Solicitor Advocate, Lin established a litigation department from the ground up and was subsequently appointed Head of Litigation. He later joined the London office of a leading ‘red circle’ Chinese law firm as an Associate in the dispute resolution team, where he was quickly promoted to Senior Associate and then to Head of Dispute Resolution.

Lin has extensive experience advising on a broad range of matters, including court litigation, arbitration, mediation, insolvency, property disputes, shareholder disputes, construction disputes, professional negligence, asset tracing, debt recovery, white collar crime and criminal defence.

He has recently joined Burlingtons as a Partner, with a particular focus on the Far East market.
