Two new London Underground stations are set to open in Battersea.

Construction of Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station, began in 2015. Now Transport for London has confirmed that six trains an hour will serve them at peak times when they first open to passengers on 20 September, with the number doubling to 12 an hour in 2022.

The first major tube extension this century means that this part of south London will be reachable by public transport within 15 minutes from the West End and the City.
