Paralegal
Zheng is a Paralegal working towards qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales. She has gained experience across UK, US and Chinese law firms, as well as within the Chinese court system, with a particular focus on property, commercial matters, financial investigations, and intellectual property. She has also assisted with pre-contentious advisory work and cross-border matters involving the UK and China.
Zheng works with international clients, including high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, on residential and commercial property matters. Her experience includes new build and secondary market transactions, leasehold and freehold properties, lease extensions, and mortgage-related issues, with values exceeding £3m.
She has also been involved in financial investigations and asset recovery, including assisting on a matter involving an account freezing order. She assisted in preparing submissions and evidence that contributed to the withdrawal of extension proceedings, resulting in the full recovery of over £XXX,000 in frozen funds.
Her broader experience includes commercial and intellectual property matters, including trade mark registrations, as well as supporting litigation through document review and legal research. She manages multiple matters concurrently and works closely with clients and stakeholders to support effective outcomes.
Zheng holds two master’s degrees, including an LLM in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of Manchester and an MA Law (SQE1) from the University of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws from China. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Hakka, with working knowledge of Cantonese.
