Overview
Our hotels, retail and leisure team provides restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels and retailers with full legal support on starting-up, trading, raising finance and any business disputes they may encounter.
We can advise you about acquisition, occupation and use of property, including new lease terms; fit-out works; and planning permission. We also provide pragmatic and commercial advice relating to employment matters and incentives and dispute resolution, as well as negotiating and documenting commercial relationships with suppliers and other business partners.
We regularly advise shareholders on ownership and structuring-related issues, such as joint ventures, shareholder agreements, franchising arrangements, articles of association, share sales and purchases and equity fundraising. In each case, we develop a detailed picture of your requirements (e.g. material terms, cost, risk and timeframes), which enables us to provide you with tailored solutions that meet your objectives.
