  • Employment contracts & self-employment arrangements

    We advise, negotiate and prepare employment contracts for all types of working arrangements.

  • Settlement agreements

    We draft settlement agreements for employers and provide employees with independent advice on the terms and effect of their agreement.

  • Disciplinary, grievance & other internal procedures

    We advise on all employment policies and procedures. This includes statutory rights, as well as standard and bespoke working practices.

  • Unfair dismissal & wrongful dismissal

    We advise and act on behalf of employers and employees for unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal claims. Our experience spans employment tribunals, civil court cases (e.g. sports employment) and arbitration.

  • Redundancy

    We support you through the entire redundancy process from a procedural and a substantive perspective. We also inform you of any potential resulting disputes that may arise.

  • Employee rights & director’s duties

    We provide expert legal guidance in relation to statutory and contractual rights and duties and obligations (express and implied).

  • Breach of contract

    We advise on breaches of contract that extend beyond wrongful dismissal/notice-related matters. For example, disputes regarding bonus and commission entitlements.

  • TUPE transfers

    We not only advise on the non-contentious aspects that can arise from transactions or from service provision changes of any nature (typically tendering), we also advise on TUPE-related litigation.

  • Restrictive covenants

    We explore and advise on the applicability and enforceability of restrictive covenants. This could be: at the point of contract negotiation; during re-organisation or following termination, and during any subsequent disputes.

  • Discrimination

    We advise and act for employers, employees, non-employee workers, self-employed consultants and partners/partnerships in relation to all aspects of unlawful discrimination – i.e. covered by the Equality Act 2010 or wider legislation concerning statutory protections, such as part-time and flexible working.
