The latest (Feb 2013) statistics published by the Lands Registry in the UK show that property prices in the UK increased by 1% in January 2013. The average price of property in the UK is now £162,441. Interestingly, Greater London experienced the highest growth (amongst Counties) with an average annual price increase of 7.1% and the strongest performance was registered in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea which experienced annual price increase of 12.4%. The average price of property in the Royal Borough is £1.08M.
