The volume of sale transactions in London alone in the month of June amounted to just under 8,000. Although London accounts for 13% of total property sales in the UK and Wales, this figure is still well below the highs of 2007 when monthly transactions reached 13,600. The number of units sold in the £1.5M to £2.0M property price bracket grew by 32%.
