As of 25 March 2020, companies are able to apply to Companies House for a three month extension for filing accounts.

If your accounts filing date is approaching and you cannot file your accounts in time due to managing the impacts of the coronavirus, you can apply to Companies House for an immediate and automatic three month extension to avoid late filing penalties. You must apply before your filing deadline as, if you do not and you fail to file your accounts on time, Companies House will impose an automatic penalty.
