Cluttons, in partnership with YouGov, just released the third edition of the Middle East Private Capital Survey.
250 Middle East based investors have been surveyed, to understand their global and regional property investment intentions. London in particular is a key investment destination for the Middle East’s wealthy, who account for 15-20% of all international residential property transactions in the capital.
For this report 50 London based high net worth individuals were also surveyed to understand their UK and global property investment intentions and associated rationale.
The survey results from the ME sample indicate a strong preference for investing in the UK with 22% of these surveyed selecting locations in the UK as their primary target for 2018. 49% claim that they will commit funds to a London property investment during 2018.
For London’s HNWI’s the capital was named by just over half the sample as being the most likely location for an investment in 2018.
