May numbers issued by the Land Registry show another positive month for property prices throughout the UK particularly London. Prices in London increased by 2.5% over the previous month. The number of property transactions also increased over the last year. It is being reported that from December 2013 to March 2014 there was an average of 67,969 sales per month. In the same months a year earlier, the figure was 50,016.
