The most recent high value residential transaction in Central London must be One Cornwall Terrace. This is a seven-bedroom, 21,000 sq ft property opposite London’s Regents Park which went on the market in November for £100 million after an extensive overhaul. It was bought for £20 million less than the asking price by British property developer Marcus Cooper, but it is still a record for a terraced home. The value makes it 500 times more expensive than the average UK home. The property was the official London residence of the New Zealand High Commissioner until the 1970s.
